Integrating Faire with Overjoy enhances your ability to manage orders and maintain up-to-date customer and product information directly through your Overjoy dashboard. This guide provides a step-by-step process on setting up the Faire integration, along with answers to common questions to ensure a smooth setup experience.


Step-by-Step Integration Process

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Go to your Overjoy account and click on Settings. You can access this directly by visiting Overjoy Settings.

Step 2: Access the Order Tab

Within the Settings page, click on the "Order" tab to view available e-commerce platform integrations.

Step 3: Initiate Faire Integration

Click on "New Integration" and then select Faire.

Step 4: Authorize Overjoy

On the Faire authorization page, you will see the permissions required by Overjoy to access your Faire account. Click on the "Authorize" button to grant these permissions and complete the integration process.

Step 5: Confirm and Auto-redirect to Overjoy

Once authorized, you will be automatically redirected back to Overjoy where you can start managing your Faire-linked operations immediately.


Frequently Asked Questions

Should I use Shopify integration or Faire integration?

We recommend connecting both, so that Overjoy can pull all relevant information for your wholesale accounts (e.g. contacts, Faire commission, etc.).

Our recommended setup is:

  • Send Faire orders to Shopify using Faire <> Shopify Order Syncing

  • Connect Overjoy with your Shopify account

  • Connect Overjoy with your Faire account (for commission tracking)

When you connect both Faire & Shopify to Overjoy, and if Faire is also connected to your Shopify account, just make sure to specify which Shopify account your Faire is connected to, so that we can automatically de-duplicate orders flowing through both platforms.

How long does it take for Faire customers to appear on the Customers page?

It can take up to 1-2 hours for Faire customers to be visible on your Customers page in Overjoy. This delay is due to the time required to sync large amounts of data.

What are the requirements for integrating Faire with Overjoy?

You must be on either a free trial or a paid plan within Overjoy to use the Faire integration. This ensures that all features related to order and customer management are fully functional
