Hostgator Email Issues
Hostgator emails can be connected to Overjoy through our IMAP email connector. You can read more on HostGator's email configuration in their help center.
To connect your HostGator email, you will need to provide the correct IMAP and SMTP settings IMAP Settings. These are usually:

If this doesn't work, you may be able to connect your email with your secure server hostname. HostGator provides guidance on how to find that here in their help center:
Please look for the section at the top titled "Finding Your Server's Secure Hostname" and see if you can use the instructions there to connect your email.

Notes
Always use your full email address as the username.
If you are unsure of your
gatorXXXX.hostgator.comserver, you can find it under Email Accounts → Connect Devices in cPanel.Both IMAP and SMTP require authentication (your email + password).
